  • Runs / Sags

    Phenomenon Film is partly sagged by irregular flows when applying an excessive amount of paint at once.
    Cause A. Diluting the paint too much.
    B. Using slow type solvent too much during spraying.
    C. Applying thickly without flash time.
    D. Too hot or cold substrate.
    E. Too low spray pressure.
    Repair A. Dry the film completely, sand the sagging area with #600 sandpaper and refinish.
    B. For light sagging, clean with compound and refinish.
    Prevention A. Use the product according to the direction and specification of manufacturer.
    B. Use proper thinner for the temperature and climate conditions.
    C. Adjust the air pressure for the best atomization of paint.
    D. Do not apply at one time.
